Salary - Dependent Upon Experience Overview Under the direction of the Head of Project, plan, drive, coordinate and expedite project activities/resources to ensure the safe, effective and timely completion of agreed deliverables in line with contract requirements, budgets and company procedures. Responsibilities To work in accordance with Wilton procedures, policies and standard working practices Ensure contractual obligations and schedules are met Ensure projects are executed in a professional and ethical manner Drive the project team to optimise project revenue, margin and resources Build professional and productive relationships with Wilton employees, clients, colleagues and suppliers Key Tasks Ensure full compliance with company procedures and Statutory Deliver projects in line with contractual obligations, specifications, quality and safety requirements while driving to maintain/better baseline budget and schedule. Lead, drive, co-ordinate and motivate the project team, other departments and third-party suppliers to ensure project objectives are achieved. Early identification of project risks and opportunities and subsequent management of mitigation/realisation activities. Build and manage customer relationships with a front foot approach to communication, reporting and on-going development. Identification of scope creep/ variations and liaising with commercial team to ensure timely communication and adherence to contract requirements. Drive the development of project schedule and ensure engagement with the wider delivery team. Ensure project costs and hours are monitored and information is provided to the commercial team in a timely manner. Utilising/reviewing project KPI information and dashboards to assist in decision making and communication of project performance to the team. Review and understand project drawings and documentation and raise Technical Queries, Concession Requests etc; as required Undertake Material Take Offs and order materials, equipment, major sub-contracts etc in line with project requirements / Chair project and company meetings as and when required and ensure action logs are up to date and followed up on in a timely manner. Provide concise and accurate reports as required. Ensure all WESL documents are checked and approved prior to submission to the client. Evaluate project performance; identifying best practice and areas for improvement. Perform tasks as required by the Project Manager / Head of Projects. Excellent planning and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent management and motivation skills Strong emphasis on cost and revenue management Front foot approach to project delivery Decisive thinker & problem solving Enthusiasm Influencing skills Negotiation skills Time Management Good team worker Role Requirements Experience as a Project Manager in the fabrication/Heavy manufacture industry Experience on working with Primavera or MS project planning Able to read and understand contracts HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering or similar discipline Able to read and understand fabrication drawings and undertake material take offs IT literate including Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc Working Hours & Benefits 5 hrs per week working 0900 hrs 1700 hrs Monday-Thursday. Early finish at 1600 hrs every Friday (where hours worked prior). 25 days holiday plus statutory with the facility to buy or sell 5 days per annum Company sick pay based on service.
