We require a motivated, experienced individual to be the Head of Computer Science. The desired candidate will have the skills and vision required to develop a dynamic, innovative team. They will have proven leadership skills, a strong grasp of the elements of successful curriculum design and will be dedicated to improving standards and accelerating student progress.
We are looking for somebody who:
· Has a passion for Computer Science and experience of teaching their subject across KS3, 4 and 5
· Can precision plan and improve the quality of teaching and learning across a department
· Has the skills to develop a curriculum, implement and monitor change
· Can lead and motivate a team towards a shared goal
· Can analyse and use data effectively to ensure rapid and sustained student progress
· Has excellent communication skills with the ability to build excellent parent and student relationships
· Is willing to participate in the wider life and development of the school, including providing enrichment opportunities for students
· Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
