£37,035 - £39,513 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity and are looking to recruit motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering high quality person centred services. Reporting directly to the Registered Manager the successful candidate will lead and manage a team in a section of our Domiciliary Service which includes Community Care and support, Supported Living, Reablement, Extra Care / Mobile response, or our Residential Childrens Services.
The post will include:
1. Responsible for managing a dedicated team of care and support workers who put people at the centre of what we do.
2. Playing a key role in delivering person centred services within the team by ensuring good practice, offering support to staff and acting as a positive role model.
3. Responsible for the supervision, management and continuous professional development of care and support workers through leadership and observation, ensuring a consistent high quality, statutory compliant service is provided.
4. Lead in promoting positive outcomes and enablement for individuals to reach their optimum level of independence.
5. Organise and maintain a diverse range of support to individuals accessing the service and their families by coordinating staff rotas and available resources.
The successful candidates will have an understanding of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016, and the relevant Statutory Guidance, and the Social Services and Well-being Act(Wales) 2014 legislation and contribute to the quality of service provision by ensuring the service is delivered in line with the Regulations, WCBC policy and statutory requirements.
The successful candidate must be a good team player, working as part of the provider leadership team, and will directly line manage a team of direct support staff.
An enhanced DBS & Social Care Wales’s registration is required for this position.
