They will produce protein, purify antibodies, conduct ELISA assays and assess growth inhibitory activity of antibodies in Plasmodium falciparum culture. They will also support the manager of our derogated category 3 culture room, maintaining stocks and helping with safety training for room users. This provides an exciting opportunity to engage in malaria vaccine development, while developing skills in both research and facility management.
