You will
* Lead and support implementation of Secure by Design activities across DVSA architecture and through engagement with the Developer community, in line with the Government Cyber Security Strategy
* Bridge between architecture, the CISO and Cyber Security Teams to ensure alignment with Government Security Standards and Direction.
* Work with the DVSA and Digital Services to provide advice, guidance and architectural assurance on multiple projects that require broad architectural thinking.
* Learn emerging technologies and recommend how the DVSA can use them to benefit our customers and the transport sector.
* Develop and maintain security architecture artefacts that can be used to leverage security capabilities in projects and Services and meet our Digital & Data design principles such as re-use.

Additional Information
This role can be based in Bristol, Swansea, Nottingham, Newcastle, Oldham or Birmingham or Leeds your presence at one of these locations will form part of the working arrangements agreed with you. We operate a hybrid working model giving you greater flexibility about where and when you work. Our expectation is that you will spend a minimum 60% of your time at your base location. Visits to other DVSA sites or work locations count towards this.
Government Digital and Data Profession Pay Framework
This role is part of the Government Digital and Data profession and utilises an enhanced Capability–Based Pay Framework which provides access to a Digital and Data allowance.
The base pay is £51,997. In addition to this, the role includes a Digital and Data allowance of up to £28,403.
The value of allowance awarded will be based on an assessment of your skills and experience as demonstrated through the selection process.
