This is an excellent opportunity to join the Business Information Technology Office as a Senior Developer. We offer a highly interesting and innovative IT project environment. This is an exciting time to be part of the team, and you’ll work on a broad portfolio of projects delivering a dynamic, digitally enabled Parliament.
Our team is proud to have won an award for developing the bespoke digital voting application which enabled hybrid parliamentary business to continue during the pandemic. This enabled the transformation of the voting system for MSPs vote.
Last year we grew our Applications Team to 28 people and we’re looking to expand our capability and capacity to further support the organisation to achieve its strategic aims.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and development of web applications using C# (.NET Core & .NET Framework), Azure, SQL Development (including Entity Framework), and Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
2. Design and develop software solutions and services to assist the Parliament in examining governmental actions, making new laws, and debating current issues.
