We have exciting opportunities for you to join our rapidly growing theatre team that offers a 24/7 elective and emergency service. We have a wide range of specialties including ENT, Maxillo Facial, Trauma & Orthopaedic, General Surgery, Urology Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Plastic Surgery, and Breast Surgery.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder is expected to work closely with all disciplines to ensure the promotion of high standards for all patients requiring all aspects of peri-operative care, following appropriate training encompassing a variety of specialties.
The role of the nurse is to provide a holistic, high-quality, patient-focused, comprehensive, efficient, and safe service for the patients cared for at Kettering General Hospital, acting with responsibility, accountability, and integrity, reporting adverse events and poor practice to the person in charge. The nurse would be expected to use resources and engage in change and service improvements effectively and responsibly.
The post holder will always act in accordance with the NMC code and local standards of care and policies.

* NMC Registered Nurse/HCPC registered ODP
* Diploma/Degree level
Knowledge / Experience
* Previous recent experience of working within the surgical/theatre environment
* Identification and assessment of patient needs
* Recent knowledge of current NHS issues
