An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Ward Manager to work in an exceptional mental health service based in the Gosport, Hampshire area.
You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.
This special service is a rehabilitation and recovery service for males presenting with mental illnesses and complex needs, often accompanied by challenging behaviours.
To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
As the Ward Manager, your key responsibilities include:
* Co-ordinating the quality and management of nursing care, patient care, and the clinical environment.
* Participating fully with the multidisciplinary team and undertaking direct patient care, managing delivery of clinical services within a ward, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, current legislation, and quality standards.
* Providing supervision and support, helping to develop and progress the staff working within the ward.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
* An interest in quality improvement and patient-centred care.
* Inpatient experience.
* Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
* A role model to others in our highly motivated and enthusiastic team.
* Able to show a can-do attitude always.
The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £44,375 - £50,329 per annum DOE.
