Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP)
About the Role: Do you want to join an innovative and enthusiastic AMHP team? We are seeking a qualified AMHP to join our core AMHP team in BANES, providing high quality MHA assessments and associated tasks as part of a dedicated team.
Main Duties of the Job
The applicant needs to work well in a team and be able to work well under pressure, with practice underpinned by a rights-based approach to AMHP work, keeping the individual at the center of their practice.
Both the team and B&NES Council are committed to providing continued professional development through supervision, opportunities to develop additional skills and gain experience, and various training opportunities. The service is actively supported by a dedicated Mental Health Principal Social Worker employed by the Council.
Location: Hillview Lodge, RUH, Bath.
There is the option to base yourself at home for some of the working week, although there is a significant amount of direct work with individuals required in various locations. There is a requirement to travel outside of the BANES geographical area on a regular basis.
