Work as a Community Clinical Lead Nurse for a complex care provider, supporting clients to live independently at home and within their wider communities. This community role will be covering the North West region, including areas between Manchester and some parts of Yorkshire.
The Community Clinical Lead Nurse will oversee a team of 12 nurses in the community, caring for clients with complex needs.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all clients with complex health and social care needs receive sufficient clinical oversight to guarantee safe and effective care delivery.
2. Provide clinical supervision for nurses and support their learning and development.
3. Develop monitoring and reporting systems that promote safe, effective, and high-quality services.
4. Conduct regular quality audits and support visits to maintain consistent standards.
5. Provide strong clinical leadership and support for Registered Nurses, acting as a champion for client safety and dignity.
6. Complete audits within the specified weekly/monthly timeframes.
7. Lead regular clinical meetings and cascade information to Service Managers, Quality Manager, the Operations Director, and the Nominated Individual.
8. Contribute and participate towards governance meetings.
9. Engage in continuous professional development to meet the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Minimum Requirements:
1. Valid NMC pin and current practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK.
2. Experience in general nursing including management of clients who are ventilated via tracheostomy.
3. Experience managing a team of nurses.
4. Community nursing experience (desirable, but not essential).
5. Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
6. Competence in reviewing and interpreting complex documents.
7. Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
8. Excellent verbal communication skills.
9. Strong ability to plan, prioritise, and manage your workload.
10. Enthusiasm and personal commitment to the role.
11. Up-to-date competencies in a broad range of community-based clinical activities, including supporting people who are ventilated via tracheostomy.
12. A full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.
This community role is to work full time mainly Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with some flexibility required.
The salary is negotiable dependent on experience, up to £46,000.
