The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for creating and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework that aligns with the company’s business goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, IT infrastructure, security and software development processes. They will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders. Previous experience in the ISP and Telecommunications sectors is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture Development and Strategy:
Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategies.
Define and manage the architecture governance framework, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand their objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
Application Architecture:
Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing application architectures.
Ensure seamless integration of third-party applications and services, leveraging APIs, middleware, and other integration technologies.
Data Architecture:
Develop and implement data architecture strategies that ensure data integrity, security, and availability.
Define data governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Business Architecture:
Align business processes and operations with the enterprise architecture framework.
Develop business capability models and ensure they are integrated into the overall architecture.
Provide guidance on business process reengineering and optimization initiatives.
Security Architecture:
Develop and implement security architecture strategies that protect enterprise systems and data.
Define security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the security team to identify and mitigate security risks.
Ensure that security considerations are integrated into all architectural designs and implementations.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure cohesive implementation of architectural initiatives.
Communicate architectural vision, strategy, and progress to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong focus on application, data, and business layers.
Extensive experience with third-party integration technologies, including APIs, middleware, and data exchange protocols.
Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and secure architectures.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing, data management, and business process modeling.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
