Technical Pensions Actuarial Consultant
Level: 3+ years, part or nearly qualified
Locations: London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow
Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week in office)
Our client is a market-leading pension consulting firm with a dynamic and collaborative working environment, seeking a part or nearly qualified student actuary with at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar role.
The Technical Pensions Actuarial Consultant will have reduced client interaction, instead primarily focusing on the technical aspects of core UK DB pensions actuarial work.
You will have the option to work on regular valuations, accounting, individual calculations, ALM modelling, M&A, buy-ins/buyouts, de-risking, GMP equalisation, and lots of other areas. Or, you can focus on one specific area of interest if you wish.
Key skills:
* 3+ years in a relevant role
* Part or nearly qualified actuarial student
* Good working knowledge of UK DB pension schemes and relevant technical actuarial methods
