These are permanent positions: 7 full time and 1 for 25.9 hours. (Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.)
The shift pattern for this position is days and nights over 7 days a week, 11.25 hrs per shift.
The post holder will provide a high standard of care to sick and/or premature infants in this busy tertiary Neonatal Unit. They will support the SCN/M in the day to day delivery of quality, family centred care, and potentially lead shifts as required. They will be educated to Degree Level and have a formal post graduate qualification in the neonatal speciality. They will demonstrate a passion for their chosen career path. Their care will be safe, effective and evidence based. They will promote the values of UNICEF and be willing to participate in our aim to be accredited with the Bliss Baby Charter. This RN/RM will comply with NHSGGC policies, and be registered with the NMC. They will also show a commitment to support the neonatal service across the HPN Service in NHSGGC as required. This role involves supporting, supervising and assessing junior staff and student nurses/midwives. It requires a good team worker who wishes to develop their leadership qualities and motivate others.
