Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Adult Skills Teacher to join our Early Years and Health and Social Care Bootcamps team. Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching and Learning: Plan and deliver high-quality learning programmes to adults, ensuring comprehensive initial, formative, and summative assessments.
* Learner Engagement: Utilise varied learner-centred approaches to support individual learning styles and promote high standards of achievement.
* Programme Design: Develop and adjust programmes, including schemes of work and lesson plans, using appropriate resources and teaching materials.
* Guidance and Support: Provide impartial information and guidance to help learners make informed course choices and negotiate learning goals.
* Equality and Diversity: Ensure equality of opportunity by removing barriers to learning and encouraging learner autonomy, considering cultural diversity.
* Technology Integration: Embrace and promote teaching technologies and digital platforms to enhance the learner experience.
* Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate records and adhere to quality monitoring processes, including registers, Individual Learning Plans, enrolment data, and assessment data.
* Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of learners, complying with safeguarding regulations and reporting any concerns.
* Curriculum Development: Support curriculum design in response to government priorities and Step2Skills identified priorities.
* Progression Routes: Develop links to secure and promote progression routes for learners.
* Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, including moderation, standardisation, and curriculum team meetings.
* Professional Development: Engage in industry and professional updating to maintain high levels of technical knowledge and expertise.

Experience in Early Years
* Knowledge and Experience:
o Proven track record in re-engaging adults into education, employment, or community involvement.
o Experience in curriculum delivery across multiple subject areas or relevant qualifications.
o Effective work with adults facing barriers to learning or employment.
o Experience in Further Education or Adult Community Learning.
o Proficiency in using technology for communication and teaching.
o Experience in developing interactive learning resources.
o Ability to establish partnerships with external organisations.
o Understanding of Department for Education funding approaches.
