SEN Teaching Assistant Woking, Surrey £85 - £125 per day (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications) Start date: ASAP The School and Role This ‘Outstanding’ school based in Woking, Surrey is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant for as soon as possible start. They cater for boys who have special, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH). The pupils are supported in small class sizes, by experienced staff who are able to offer a range of academic, practical and vocational activities. Their approach aims to support their educational achievements and social, emotional & mental health well being. This approach allows the pupils to equip themselves with the skills and practical experience they need for life beyond school and into their chosen careers. 6-7 students per class Hours 08:30-16:30 The school has multiple therapy rooms: therapy dogs room, rabbit room, heavy duty room, art therapy, gym, brick room The school support pupils with SEMH, ASD and ADHD On Fridays the school organizes activities for pupils such as sports activities, gardening, master chef and more.
