The Role: An opportunity to sell a range of leading ophthalmic IOLs into private businesses. You will sell a range of implants to private ophthalmic surgeries and clinics, by building strong relationships throughout your designated territory. This role is an expansion role, aimed to grow business and help the exposure of said implants throughout the UK. The Company: This company is a leading distributor for ophthalmic capital and consumable equipment. They provide equipment, services and expertise offering a market leading portfolio at a range of price points & at a premium quality. They are expanding their product portfolio and team, so it is an exciting time to join the business. To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you must have: · Ophthalmic sales experience OR · Theatre sales experience. · Clinical understanding of IOL's, cataracts or VR surgical procedures. · A personable character, commercial mindset, motivation and determination. The Package for Business Development Manager: · Basic: £35-55k depending on experience · £20k OTE uncapped commission · £650 PM car allowance/company car · 25 days holidays, healthcare, pension Desired Skills and Experience · Secondary care ophthalmology sales experience OR · Theatre sales experience. · Clinical understanding of IOL's, cataracts or VR surgical procedures. · A personable character, commercial mindset, motivation and determination.
