To provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to the Directorate Specialist Nursing Team that specialise in Parkinsons Disease., Co-ordinating appointments & managing waiting lists.
Typing of clinical letters and correspondence.
Communicating with patients, service providers and health professions face to face, phone calls, meetings and emails.
Work flexibly to support other secretarial teams.
Working for a team of specialist nurses as well as a secretarial/admin team.
Working closely with service co-ordinator to maintain a high standard secretarial service.
Transcribe clinical audio dictations.
Working with EPR systems to record appointments, outcomes for patients attending Out Patient Clinics.
Ensure nursing notes are available for patients attending clinics and filed in a timely manner once attended.
Attend meetings and provide minute taking as required.
