We are seeking a Personal Development Coordinator to design and deliver an engaging programme of events and activities that enrich the student experience. This role is pivotal in fostering personal growth, wellbeing, and cultural capital among our learners. You will work closely with students to identify knowledge gaps, collaborate with leaders to align initiatives with strategic objectives, and build partnerships with external organisations to deliver impactful guest speaker sessions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and coordinate a diverse range of personal development activities. Organise and deliver events that enhance students' essential life and employability skills. Engage with learners to understand their needs and shape development initiatives. Build strong partnerships with external organisations for guest speaker sessions. Lead on learner voice activities, ensuring students are involved in shaping their experience. Oversee cross-college enrichment programmes covering wellbeing, health, and learning opportunities. Support the Students’ Union Team in creating student-led clubs and societies. React to local and national trends, swiftly providing awareness information and facilitating student discussions on key topics. Organise initiatives and events to celebrate student success and achievements. About You: We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in an educational, mentoring, or support environment. Skilled in event coordination and engaging young people in activities. Passionate about personal development and student engagement. Confident in working with external partners to deliver valuable student experiences. Knowledgeable about safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
