Test & Verification Engineer - Space / Satellite / Imaging
We are seeking a talented Graduate with a Physics, Astrophysics or Space Engineering degree to join our team as a Product Verification Engineer.
This exciting role will involve working across all stages of Space and Science projects for imaging devices and sub-systems, covering a range of hands-on, clean-room and office-based engineering tasks including electro-optical testing, electrical continuity testing, accelerated life testing and mechanical stress testing.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivery and management of allocated work packages and tasks
* Writing project documentation, including test plans, procedures and test reports
* Commissioning test equipment in accordance with internal and customer specifications, including scripting and coding for Automated Test Equipment
* Performing technical investigations into failure modes and anomalous results
* Supporting internal and customer meetings by presenting technical information
Requirements
* A Master's degree in Physics, Astrophysics, Space Engineering or related field
* Understanding of semiconductor device physics
* Experience using Labview or Matlab in an industrial, academic or lab based environment
* Analysis skills
