About the Role As an HR Advisor at Toad Hall, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive HR support to the Head of HR and the wider business. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for both management and employees, offering timely and effective HR advice on a range of issues. Employee Relations & Legal Compliance: Provide support for employee relations casework, act as a note-taker during meetings, and ensure compliance with employment law by staying updated on legal changes and conducting annual audits of personnel files. Payroll & Compensation: Input monthly payroll changes, support payroll processing, manage compliance with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage regulations, and assist with annual leave buyback and bonus processes. Training & Development: Oversee the Government Apprenticeship Service, deliver HR training sessions, and manage training feedback and recognition programs. Health & Wellbeing: Coordinate Occupational Health referrals, support workplace wellness initiatives, and manage the administration of employee exit processes and reporting. Your qualifications and experience: CIPD Level 5 qualification with up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices Proven experience in payroll, HR administration, and employee relations Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise under pressure Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information Access to own transport for travel to nursery settings Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check If you are a dedicated HR professional with a passion for supporting employees and contributing to a thriving organisation, we would love to hear from you.
