Our NOC engineer teams provide a safe, secure and consistent approach to operational activities for customers across a range of sectors and to support ongoing growth and career development we have outstanding opportunities for L1 Network Support Engineers looking to take the next step in their career. You will provide a coordinated, consistent and effective Network Support service, resolving problems and issues in-line with documented procedures. To be considered for this opportunity you will be able to demonstrate: Excellent customer facing communication skills and the confidence, enthusiasm and drive required to deliver a first-class experience to our customers. Ability to work under pressure within a busy team environment, where no two days are the same, this is key to our success. Knowledge of troubleshooting network faults. Basic knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto Networks technologies. Basic understanding of circuit types such as ADSL & Ethernet. Basic understanding of routing and switching. CCNA certification would be an advantage but not essential. Successful candidates will be required to pass baseline security checks, NPPV3 and SC clearances. Please note that this role is a full-time staff role based in our state-of-the-art Bellshill Network Operations Centre. Our team deliver support on a 24/7 basis and our colleagues therefore work a 4 days on / 4 days off shift system.
