Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer - PLC Engineer (Water Sector)
Location: Central England/East Anglia
Rate: up to £45 an hour
Contract Duration: 6 - 12 months
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for automation and control systems? We're seeking a talented PLC Engineer to join our team on a key project in the water sector. If you're driven, technically skilled, and ready to make a significant impact, this opportunity could be for you.
Key Responsibilities:
·Develop Functional Design Specifications from customer control philosophies.
·Program, Test, and Commission PLC & HMI code to ensure flawless operations.
·Collaborate with Schneider, Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC & HMI systems (experience preferred but not essential).
·Work with SCADA systems (experience preferred but not essential).
·Deliver high-quality projects for UK Water Authorities, with the option to leverage a strong automation or process background if water-specific experience is limited.
·Manage tasks autonomously, demonstrating strong self-motivation and initiative.

·Proficiency in PLC programming and commissioning.
·Previous experience in process automation or water sector projects.
·A proactive, independent worker who thrives in a fast-paced project environment.
