As Climate Change Project Manager you’ll report to the Head of Net Zero and will: Manage the delivery of a range of sustainability projects across multiple sectors, including building decarbonisation and large scale infrastructure projects. Provide expert advice to a range of stakeholders on climate adaptation and carbon reduction activities and approaches. Seek and secure funding opportunities that drive forward projects to meet the council’s net zero ambitions. Play a pivotal role in developing transformational partnerships that attract investment in sustainability work and deliver projects at local and regional levels. You will have: Significant project management skills with experience of planning, delivering and monitoring large projects and budgets. Experience of commissioning projects, negotiating and managing contracts. The ability to give sound, professional advice and work in partnership with a broad range of stakeholders in an inclusive and accessible way. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information into accessible formats for internal and external purposes.
