We're currently recruiting for Senior Housing Officers to join our Independent Living team on a fixed-term basis until the end of June 2025. Based at Eagle House (Stafford, ST16 2GH), this is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader who is passionate about helping vulnerable individuals within the community. As Senior Housing Officer you’ll lead and support our front-line team of Accommodation Officers to deliver high-quality housing services to service users aged 18-64, who are facing homelessness Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Lead a team providing a first-class housing management service, providing expert support and guidance. Carry out regular 1-to-1s with your team to help ensure the best service possible for our service users. Provide support to tenants in relation to benefit claims, budgeting, move-on plans etc. Carry out Building Safety Checks and ensuring the buildings' security. Help promote an independent lifestyle to our service users. Cover weekend and evening out-of-hours on-call service on a rota basis. Our ideal candidate? You will have a background in delivering housing management services or and / or a relevant Housing qualification to demonstrate your knowledge of housing management best-practice. You’ll also have previous experience of leading a team to deliver positive outcomes and be able to demonstrate resilience in the face of challenging situations and service users.
