Hours: 12 hours per week, days of work to be discussed
Salary: £7,831 - £8,699 per annum (FTE £24,272 - £27,184 per annum)

This is an opportunity to join West Cornwall Women’s Aid (WCWAid) as a Resettlement Worker, providing personal welfare support to women leaving our Refuge service, having experienced domestic abuse and/or sexual violence, in a trauma-informed environment in accordance with WCWAid’s philosophical principles.
Key responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver groupwork to women engaging with our Refuge and Resettlement services, including Peer Support and Wellness groups
2. Provide high quality support and safety planning to women in crisis, including use of DASH risk assessment
3. Deliver support through a trauma-informed, person-centred lens
4. Champion co-production, by ensuring that the views and experiences of women are sought actively, recorded carefully, and inform the development of the service
5. Work in collaboration with our Children & Young People’s Workers to provide a whole family response
6. Work in collaboration with external agencies to co-facilitate workshops and programmes
7. Work with other services within WCWAid to deliver holistic support to women
8. Promote and ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others in line with our Safeguarding Adult and Children Policies, Health & Safety Policy, together with any other requirements aimed at keeping people safe from harm in their interaction with WCWAid
9. Ensure that the confidentiality and security of information is maintained in accordance with our Confidentiality, Data Protection and IT policies
10. Keep up to date with relevant legislation, information and resources, including undertaking relevant training
11. Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the role
12. Attendance at organisational meetings and supervision as appropriate
13. Adhere to WCWAid policies and procedures at all times
