Job Opportunity: Class Teaching Assistants (Year 5 and Across All Ages)

We currently have two rewarding opportunities available, one to work alongside Year 5 students and the other to support students across all ages, from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Position: Class Teaching Assistant
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Roles Available:
1. Year 5 Class Teaching Assistant
2. Across All Ages (EYFS, KS1, and KS2) Teaching Assistant
Requirements:
3. Essential: Level 2 qualification related to working with children in schools, such as Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
4. Experience working with challenging behavior is necessary.
5. Excellent communication skills and a nurturing approach to supporting students.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment.
7. A commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all students.
Responsibilities:
8. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities that cater to the diverse needs of students.
9. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance with their learning.
10. Help manage behavior within the classroom, implementing strategies to support students with challenging behavior.
11. Support the overall development and well-being of students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
12. Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress and contribute to individual education plans where necessary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
