Mobile Maintenance Electrician in Aylesbury, Oxford
Location: Aylesbury, Oxford
Salary: Up to £40,400 (dependent on expertise and qualifications)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week (7am to 4pm) with 1 in 4 weeks on-call and 1 in 4 Saturdays. Door-to-door pay.
About the Role: TXM Recruit is seeking a skilled Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join one of the UK’s leading facilities companies. You will be the primary point of contact for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive work at dedicated sites, as well as general building maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing lighting systems to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
Installing new lighting fixtures and systems, including energy-efficient solutions.
Performing ongoing maintenance to ensure the continued safe operation of lighting systems.
Fault finding to diagnose issues and resolve electrical problems within lighting circuits.
Implementing upgrades to existing lighting systems to improve efficiency or meet updated standards.
Carrying out remedial tests to address and rectify any faults or deficiencies in the electrical system.
Conduct planned maintenance and minor repairs, including some mechanical work on AHUs and other systems.
Support general fabric maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements:
18th Edition electrical qualification and experience in commercial buildings.
Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
