Job overview
The post holder will support the Business Support Manager in the management of Care Group, Programme Board Committee level meetings as required, working closely with the Service Directors and their teams. This will include the collation, tracking and dissemination of papers, taking minutes and management of actions. The post holder will have particular responsibility for carrying out actions that support the governance arrangements within the Care Group.
Main duties of the job
The purpose of the role is to provide excellent and comprehensive Business Administrative support to the Directors of the Unscheduled Care Group. This includes planning and organising complex activities and logistics, providing high level support to projects as required, dealing with confidential and sensitive information and communicating/liaising with Chair and Executives in Health Boards, the Offices of Cabinet Secretaries and Welsh Government Ministers, other colleagues in Welsh Government and wider partners/stakeholders, including the NHS Confederation.

Person specification
Knowledge
* Thorough understanding of administrative procedures.
* Awareness of policies and procedures relating to dealing with confidential data both personal and organisational.
* Knowledge of Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB.
Experience
* Demonstrable experience of working as an Executive Administration Assistant, Senior Personal Assistant or in a similar role.
* Experience of complex diary management.
* Experience working in an NHS/Healthcare environment.
* Experience of formal minute taking.
Aptitude and Abilities
* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
