Job Title: Clinical Negligence Lawyer
Location: Leeds
Salary: £32,000 to £50,000
Contract: Full Time, Permeant
Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
* Manage a full caseload of clinical negligence claims from initial instruction through to resolution, including settlement or trial.
* Conduct thorough investigations, including reviewing medical records, liaising with medical experts, and assessing the viability of claims.
* Draft key legal documents such as letters of claim, witness statements, pleadings, and schedules of loss.
* Negotiate settlements through pre-action protocols and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
* Prepare cases for litigation, ensuring all court deadlines and procedural requirements are met.
* Provide clear, empathetic advice to clients throughout the claims process, ensuring they are fully supported and informed.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional legal services while upholding the firm's strong reputation.

* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 1 years' PQE in clinical negligence or a closely related field.
