Job overview
The post holder will work across traditional staff group boundaries to provide an effective and timely service and maintain a safe and pleasant environment.
Undertake duties to ensure the upkeep of a clean and hygienic environment within the hospital and other Health Board premises, inclusive of in-patient and non-patient environments under the direction of the Domestic Services Supervisor.
Follow departmental procedures and provide a responsive cleaning and decontamination service for patient and non-patient areas throughout the healthcare premises.
All work to be undertaken in line with Health & Safety, COSHH and cleanliness policies and procedures, and with a commitment to customer care, following on the job training.
