Salary: £23,011.93 FTE / CC24 / £11.96 per hour (actual pro-rata salary £9,687.98 plus holiday pay £1,415.94, total pro-rata salary £11,103.91, £13.71 per hour)

About the Role
Based at our Camborne campus, we are looking to appoint a Higher Learning Support Practitioner (Higher LSP) for Foundation Learning and Vocational Academy department. To contribute to the delivery of our support and intervention based in various curriculum areas. We are looking for an individual who is serious about making a difference to the quality of support our learners receive.

The Higher LSP will support learners who have a declared Special Educational Need and/or Disabilities (SEND). The role will consist of our usual Learning Support Practitioner duties, delivering targeted interventions to learners, undertaking activities which improve the resources available to learners and covering absence within the department. Communication with curriculum staff will be an essential part of this role. There will also be an element of coaching other members of the team to develop their practice.
Skills & Experience
You must be a positive member of the team, who has all current training requirements up to date. You will want to add value to the current support provisions and work closely to mentor new colleagues to come into the team with the same attitude; upholding College values and striving to achieve the ALS Vision. Hours of Work
This role is on a term-time basis; 22.5 hours per week. Term-time only 36 weeks per year.
