Product Owner Location: London, UK (Hybrid, 2 days a week in office)

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the end-to-end development of underwriting modules, ensuring that these features meet market demands and client requirements.
* Translate underwriting needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and development tasks, prioritising based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
* Stakeholder Management: Build trust with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including underwriters, product managers, and developers, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product goals and timelines.
* Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback from users and clients to identify opportunities for enhancing underwriting modules. Collaborate with development teams to iterate on the product, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
* Technical Evaluation: Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate technical solutions and understand constraints. Ensure product decisions align with the technical capabilities and limitations of the platform.
* Roadmap Influence: Influence the short-term product roadmap by advocating for underwriting module improvements and client-driven enhancements that align with broader company objectives.
Qualifications required
* Several years of experience in product management, preferably within insurtech, fintech, or specialty insurance sectors.
* Strong understanding of underwriting processes in insurance, particularly in specialty lines.
* Experience translating business and underwriting needs into technical requirements and user stories.
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally with development teams, underwriters, and business stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and make decisions with incomplete information.
* Self-motivated and able to operate with complete self-agency.
