Acoustics Consultant: A Key Role for Skilled Professionals
Outside IR35 contractors are sought to leverage their expertise in CadnA modelling, report writing, and associated assessments.
Responsibilities:
* Apply CadnA modelling skills to deliver high-quality results.
* Write comprehensive acoustics planning reports and related assessments.
* Utilize knowledge of industry standards and guidelines, noise monitoring equipment, and GIS/ AutoCAD packages.
* Independently design noise surveys/testing regimes.
* Use noise modelling software like CadnaA, Insul, and CATT.
* Collaborate with design teams, architects, clients, and end-users.
* Analyse and assess noise levels.
* Create detailed noise assessment/design reports.
* Contribute to architectural and building services acoustics.
* Develop construction noise strategies, assessments, and monitoring plans.
* Address environmental acoustics within the planning process.
Requirements:
* Possess a relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
* A relevant Master's degree is highly desirable.
* Hold associate membership of the relevant professional institution (Institute of Acoustics (IOA))
