Job Title: Principal Electrical Design Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join our in-house Design team in Dewsbury, working within our Asset Management and Technical Services business platform.
The successful candidate will take on a leading role in all aspects of projects, from scoping and detailed design through to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards.
This includes:
* Meeting with clients to discuss specific intervention requirements.
* Taking the lead on development of bids and proposals for new projects or strategic frameworks.
* Carrying out the planning and implementation of projects in association with our Delivery Management teams.
* Line management and development of assigned staff within your team.
* Providing technical guidance on electrical matters to the wider project team and Senior Management.
You will be responsible for driving low-carbon solutions and continuing RSE's journey towards Net Zero.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Professional Registration with IET, InstMC or similar (IEng, CEng).
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* A passion to succeed and develop your career.
* A well-developed knowledge of British and European design standards.
