The organisation is involved in various charitable works, particularly in education and training, supporting young people. The organisation has secured grants to facilitate work supporting young adults who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).
The areas covered by employees recruited for the role of Youth and Community Workers include:

* Powys
* Shropshire
We are looking for individuals with the following skills:
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Sensitivity and understanding
* The ability to work well with others
* Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
* Attention to detail
* Counselling skills, including active listening and a non-judgmental approach
* Knowledge of psychology and/or teaching experience
* The ability to understand people’s reactions
* Competency in using a computer and main software packages
As a Youth Worker, your role will include:
* Supporting young people, including carers and those at risk of offending
* Running projects that focus on issues like health, bullying, crime, or drugs
* Designing and organising activity programmes for young people
* Keeping confidential records, managing budgets, and applying for funding
* Working with other professionals, such as social workers, teachers, probation officers, and the police
