We have a fantastic opportunity for Drivers to join our Community Care Team based in Bristol. Due to expansion here at EMED Group, we are looking for experienced drivers who hold a D Licence, D1 Licence (without 101 restriction) or PSV Licence to join our Demand Response Transport (DRT) team to provide a door-to-door service like no other. WESTlink is a type of bus service which operates in the vast majority of the West of England, outside of Bristol and Bath city centres. This service runs without a fixed timetable or route, and is booked ‘on demand’ by users through the WESTlink app or by phone. Passengers can get on or off at existing bus stops (over 1,800) as well as at a number of easy to reach places, and then connect to major bus and rail services. As a Driver with EMED you will work as part of a team to transport members of our local communities in a 16-seater, wheelchair accessible vehicle. Main Duties: Responsible for a high standard and safe transportation of clients As a Driver with EMED you will work as part of a team to transport members of our local communities in a 16-seater, wheelchair accessible vehicle Drive our vehicles within the operating zones and in accordance with the standards required in the company’s environmental policy Check the vehicle prior to use in accordance with the daily vehicle checks list reporting any accident damage, defects, or deficiencies immediately and replenishing stock, as necessary To report any safeguarding concerns/incidents or accidents to your line manager Undertake all training that is required for the role.
