Job Introduction We are seeking a proactive, data-oriented Retention Manager with strong Commercial acumen to join our Digital Subscription team. In this role, you will support the Head of Retention in defining and executing the subscriber Retention strategy. With experience in Subscription management, the Retention Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives, manage stakeholders and drive subscription growth. They will be comfortable analysing retention data, and trends to identify risks and opportunities to create a roadmap of initiatives to effect Churn. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, data literacy and a good understanding of subscription/recurring revenue business. Main Responsibilities Trading Performance management Manage and effect the churn and revenue growth based on performance trends and budget targets. Interrogating churn data to ensure our channels are optimized on an ongoing basis Lead in planning, developing, and executing retention initiatives across all channels. Owner of the initiative roadmap Support the Head of Retention to determine and implement the retention strategy Stakeholder Management and Cross-Functional Coordination Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence and guide the delivery of retention initiatives. Act as a liaison between the subscription marketing team, Product, Analytics, CRM, and Customer services, ensuring alignment and smooth coordination for campaign and BAU execution. Initiative/campaign management Ensure agreed initiatives are fully scoped and implemented, working with the respective stakeholders. Ensure that success criteria is agreed and monitored Person Specification Experience Minimum 3 years of experience working within a subscriber retention environment Competent at scrutinizing and interpreting data Skills and Competencies Data literate: Strong experience in manipulating and interpreting large datasets Communication: Ability to effectively communicate across a range of stakeholder groups Project & Time Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritising tasks to ensure timely campaign execution. Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to develop innovative solutions to enhance campaign effectiveness, with brilliant attention to detail in every aspect of work.
