- Permanent As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates for fire-rated doors and related products.
You will analyse project specifications, collaborate with our sales and production teams, and ensure that our proposals are competitive, accurate, and aligned with our manufacturing capabilities.
This role is critical in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations by coordinating schedules, managing workflow, and optimising resources.

Permanent role What you'll be doing in this role: Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for fire doors, hardware, and related components.
Liaise with sales, engineering, and production departments to gather pricing and lead time data.
Issue formal quotations and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Maintain and update cost databases, supplier pricing, and historical project records.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options.
Assist with bid submissions and post-tender clarifications as needed.
Track project progress and update estimates based on changes or revisions.
What you'll need for this role: Proven experience as an estimator in a manufacturing or construction-related field (fire door experience preferred).
Strong understanding of fire door standards and certification requirements.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
