Junior National Account Manager Location: West Yorkshire Department : Sales / Account Management Job Type : Full-Time A successful family-run group of companies with a range of branded products sold across the UK and beyond. The Opportunity As Junior NAM, you could be an existing Junior NAM, or from within FMCG category or even a buyer and are now looking to grow a fast-paced career in sales / account management. You will from early on be given responsibility for some long-standing, growing accounts. You will manage the client and be the face of your company and manage end to end projects, further advancing solid existing partnerships. Reporting to the Account Director, key responsibilities are to: Manage the account with a number of growing smaller national accounts Act as a point of contact for major key accounts Work on developing Joint Business Plans Forecasting & Reporting: Collaborate in the development of sales forecasts and track account performance through regular reporting and analysis. Market Research: Assist with market analysis to identify opportunities for growth, new product launches, and client needs. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product development, customer support) to ensure client needs are met effectively. Negotiate pricing, TT&C and payments terms with customers to maximise profitability and competitive advantage Collaborate with internal stakeholders (such as the Head of B2B Sales, the Head of E-com, Head of Supply etc.) to align the whitespace expansion strategies with overall business objectives Build and maintain relationships with key market partners, distributors, and suppliers and represents the company in trade events The Person Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Experience : 1-2 years of experience in account management, sales, FMCG category or buying Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
