Overview of the role An exciting opportunity to undertake a varied and critical Supply Chain finance business partnering role, on an interim basis. In this role your primary reporting line will be to the Site General Manager, supporting them to generate financial insight and control to help drive better decision making across our Biggleswade manufacturing site. You will have a secondary reporting line to the Finance & IT Director. A fundamental part of the role will be to drive efficiencies through system and process improvement whilst ensuring the site robustly follows financial reporting controls set by the ABF Group. Key Accountabilities Our Site General Manager is looking for a team member that can… Partner the senior site management team to support delivery of site strategy plans. Drive performance through the delivery of site management action plans. Make site governance a priority and adhering to regulated controls and frameworks set by ABF. You will provide advice and counsel to the site management teams. Accurately produce site budgets and forecasts in line with JDR’s timetabled deadlines. Manage the site reporting and accounting processes, ensuring the site financial accounts adhere to ABF’s accounting standards and are delivered in a timely manner. Provide a framework by which the operations management team can understand site financial performance. Providing support and challenge to help them understand reporting variances so they can action plan to resolve and ultimately drive performance. Periodically leads the site data inputs for the capital and inventory control packs for financial reporting and internal control purposes. Builds a knowledge base on the product range being produced at site, so they can verify proposed products from a financial perspective. Ensure the operations element of financial forecasts in commercial projects are fully communicated and aligned with the commercial finance teams.
