We’re looking for a Fleet Risk and Compliance Coordinator to join our team, based in Coventry City Centre, on a permanent contract. It’s a brand-new position for our Fleet team so please read on to learn more about this role and how you could be the one to shape it… EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW The purpose of this new role is to coordinate the company fleet risk and compliance requirements to make sure that we’re meeting our regulatory, legal and health & safety requirements. You’ll be helping to keep our colleagues and communities safe, our vehicles roadworthy and our company compliant. You may be thinking, how will I do this? Well, you’ll provide health & safety support and training to our operational managers and colleagues and assist in investigating, recording, and reporting any fleet-based incidents or accidents on site. You’ll co-ordinate and support audits of our operational sites, systems and processes of work, checking that all fleet vehicle records and systems are appropriately updated with the correct documentation held. You’ll report into our Risk & Compliance Manager and work closely with colleagues from the wider fleet team and across Severn Trent. As you’ll be visiting sites for audits and meetings, a valid UK driving licence is essential. Your base will be our headquarter office in Coventry City Centre which is easy to access. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE Someone who has worked in a health & safety or regulatory compliance environment, particularly experience in the Fleet sector, would be a great fit for this role. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and DVSA standards would give you a great start. Attention to detail and accuracy is key as you’ll be supporting audits and updating records. Forming relationships and building trust is essential whilst you advise, train and support your colleagues in all things Fleet Risk and Compliance. The right skills and experience are important.
