As Finance Change Analyst, you'll work closely with our Finance Change Lead, implementing innovative solutions that align with our strategic goals. You’ll utilise various analytical tools and techniques to identify opportunities for improvement such as Gap analysis, RACI, process mapping and SWOT analysis.
With responsibility for maintaining our Finance backlog you’ll provide clear requirements and design technical system changes to enhance our finance processes continually. You'll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration.
Working flexibly, you'll spend most of your time working from home, with a day a week in the office (living a commutable distance from Haywards Heath, West Sussex is a must for this role!). But of course, it’s your choice - if you prefer to be in the office more - that's good with us too.

4. You've got a solid background in accounting and finance, with hands-on experience as a finance system administrator or in finance change roles, and you're familiar with finance systems across various tax and regulatory jurisdictions
Job Responsibilities:
5. Effectively execute a wide range of analytical tools and techniques, including process mapping, re-engineering, Gap analysis, SWOT analysis, RACI and Stakeholder Mapping
6. Responsible for maintaining the information held on the Finance backlog ensuring all documentation is complete
7. Provide Finance Change Manager and Lead with clearly defined requirements and aligned business solutions to ensure successful business outcome(s)
8. Identify benefits, strengths, and quick wins from adopting new processes. Support testing process and ensure adherence to future working processes
9. Support the definition of realisable benefits and support the prioritisation of change
10. Produce clear and effective requirements documentation, presenting information in an intelligent and clear way to communicate requirements, business solution options and recommendations to different stakeholder audiences
11. Design, test and implement technical system changes to deliver ongoing continuous improvements to Finance
12. Speak with existing system users to identify current processes including issues and exceptions Identify and map out current working processes
13. Assist with the delivery of Finance Transformation projects and support wider business projects which impact Finance
14. Build effective working relationships and influence across all levels, fostering an open and collaborative culture
15. Facilitate team based continuous improvement activity, and implement
16. Participate and provide support at appropriate stages of BAU change initiatives to ensure successful implementation of initiatives, where it makes sense to do so
17. Ensure key system control and integrity is maintained and protected through any change requests
18. Support on finance system updates and maintenance development work across all finance systems
19. Challenge current practices, leading improvements in processes, whilst managing risk
20. Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Values and guidelines and other relevant standards/ regulations at all times
Experience, Skills and Knowledge
21. Experience in an accounting/finance function
22. Experiences as a finance system administrator and / or finance change role
23. Experience in a finance systems function across multiple tax and regulatory jurisdictions
24. Financial Report writing experience
25. Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel
26. Strong mathematical, analytical, communication, and organization skills
27. A high level of oral and written communication skills, communicating effectively with senior managers, colleagues, internal and external stakeholders
28. Strong analytical skills and ability to drive process improvement, based upon analysis of data
29. Work effectively under pressure and think clearly and logically in challenging situations
30. Strong problem-solving skills
31. Qualified by experience or AAT qualified
32. Understanding of Finance processes and terminology
33. Workday experience an advantage
34. TM1 experience an advantage
