As a Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, you’ll know how to best help the twelve young people with eating disorders in our care (plus 4 additional day service users).
Working 37.5 hours a week over 4 or 5 days alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will be the clinical expert from a medical perspective to ensure best practice care is delivered whilst supporting the team. You will also work collaboratively with NHS clinicians and commissioners.
Cotswold Spa Hospital is a small, friendly and established CAMHS Eating Disorder service in the village of Broadway, nestled in the Worcestershire countryside, with a team that works well together and supports each other - which offers compressed hours flexibility, working a day from home per week and a relocation package of £8,000.

Key Responsibilities of the Consultant Psychiatrist include:
1. Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely
2. Medication management
3. Quality assurance, complaints and co-production
4. Delivery of NICE guidance
5. Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards
Essential qualifications and experience
6. MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
7. Full GMC registration with licence to practice
8. MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
9. On the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or be accepted within 6 months
10. Section 12(2) approval, Approved Clinician status
11. Clinical training and experience required for gaining UK CCT.
12. Widespread and detailed experience of assessment and management of patients in Child and Adolescent psychiatry
13. Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
