You will be involved in all aspects of the product journey, from creative brief through to product launch, working on own label product for a well-known grocer. Who are we looking for? Someone with the ability to focus on tasks and manage priorities effectively, have a keen eye for design, strong commercial awareness and interest in market trends. If so, then this could be the role for you You’ll be working with teams across the organisation, including Creative, Category Management, Pre Media, Purchasing and Business Management, and externally with the customer. The role is a customer facing role, and some travel will be involved, so a full driving licence is required. You should have a creative eye and a genuine interest in bringing market leading design-led product to market.Excel & Microsoft Office knowledge is essential in this role.Key activities & responsibilities include:• Ensuring cost of goods targets are met, delivering clear value for money both within product specification, to the customer and end consumer.• Monitoring and analysis of marketplace activity, sales and category insight, in order to develop proposals for new product launches.• Liaise with our in-house design team to produce new product and packaging concepts. • In addition to the formulation of objectives and strategies for your product area, you will have responsibility for ensuring plans are communicated and implemented within established schedules.• An element of the role will be customer facing so you should be able to work independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build relationships whilst liaising with key internal departments. You will be a pro-active, have a professional approach, good commercial awareness and excellent presentation skills. Experience in a Marketing/Product Development environment is essential. Knowledge of the greeting card industry is an advantage.This role operates in a hybrid working pattern of office-based days and working from home.
