Working hours: Minimum 35 hours per week Interview Date: 7th May 2025 We are looking to recruit a Regional Accounts Assistant to assist in supporting Corps officers with their finances Key Responsibilities: To assist the Regional Team in the support of corps officers, finance locals, corps in their financial activities To assist the Regional Team in the support of divisional leaders in their respective financial activities To assist in monitoring corps budgets, investigate variances To assist in monitoring performance of charity shops, cafes and similar activities of the corps To support the Regional Finance team as required The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: Essential At least two years’ experience in an accounting role Understanding of basic accounting concepts Good oral and written communication skills Good organisational, team-working and inter-personal skills Experience of complex accounting systems Basic Excel skills GCSE including maths grade A to C or equivalent, or NVQ level 2 Able to work within The SA’s Christian ethos and key values: integrity; accountability; compassion; passion; boldness and respect Ability to be flexible Eye for detail Customer focused Willing to travel as necessary to visit corps Ability to act in a professional manner with accountability and integrity Desirable Knowledge of charity accounting Full Driving License AAT qualification or studying for a relevant NVQ, or equivalent In order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.
