Van Delivery Driver
Goole
Pay Rate: PAYE ADV (Including Holiday Pay): £12.83 per hour
The Role:
1. Vehicle safety, maintenance and cleanliness
2. Daily route planning and control of delivery documentation
3. Safe loading and unloading of furniture to customer properties and warehouses
4. Maintain effective communication with customers, stores and warehouses
5. Some furniture assembly in customer properties
6. Collection of returns and recycled furniture
7. Plan and drive to predetermined appointments with due care and attention
8. Liaise with customers to confirm delivery times
9. Ensure furniture is unwrapped and checked for any damage prior to leaving the customer’s properties
10. This role will involve heavy lifting.
Requirements:
1. Valid Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
2. Flexible schedule and approach to work
3. Comfortable with handball and heavy lifting
4. Strong communication and customer service skills.
