Engineering Claims Auditor
Please note: This role is hybrid to either our Leicester, London or Bexhill offices. The role is majority homeworking but we'd expect you to attend one of our offices on a quarterly basis.
Job Details
1. Developing a complete understanding of all internal and supplier engineering processes, new commercial initiatives, best practice and the impact of inefficient processes, reviews or outcomes on customer journey, leakage etc.
2. Retaining an up to date technical knowledge with new motor repair regulations and policies.
3. Designing and developing relevant, effective audit approaches and capture mechanisms which are flexible to accommodate our changing business needs and allow to capture, monitor and measure performance.
4. Managing relationships with senior personnel and effectively communicating across Engineer Teams, commercial teams, operational leaderships to ensure scoping, attendance and feedback is all delivered effectively.
5. Completing and managing on site and remote risk based audits when necessary, with ability to interpret and apply technical knowledge to contract builds and terms to develop audit questions.
6. Providing recommendations on areas for development and improvement, this could be savings, better contract adherence, KPI/SLA adherence and impact on customer journey and outcomes.
Skills we would love you to have
1. Strong technical knowledge and proven experience within the motor industry with either vehicle bodywork or mechanical knowledge (Audatex and Glassmatix estimating systems knowledge beneficial).
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret MI and identify areas of risk and opportunity.
3. Excellent problem solving skills coupled with a proactive approach to work.
