We have a new opportunity to head up our Stores team in the role of Stores & Internal Logistics Manager.
As our Stores & Internal Logistics Manager, you will oversee our Stores department, along with our internal and external logistics operations, ensuring that all business requirements are met in a timely manner. You will also ensure accurate records are created and maintained, meeting all requirements for inventory control across the business, including the external supply chain.
You will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring that the internal and external stores and logistics operations operate in a timely and efficient manner to meet the demands of the business and wider supply chain.
2. Ensuring the movement of parts around the campus are transacted correctly to maintain traceability and validity within the ERP system, providing KPI data to support and drive improvement.
3. Ensuring that stock accuracy is maintained and reported through the ERP business system.
4. Ensuring all systems are working practically within the stores and logistics departments.
5. Driving consistency across the stores and logistics areas, through an operational framework of objectives and KPIs that empower and drive accountability within the team.
6. Leading and driving inventory control through perpetual inventory checking and process and issue resolution.
7. Overseeing personnel management and developing improved processes and compliance with policies and procedures.
8. Chairing, attending, and proactively participating in meetings as required.
9. Providing procedures and processes to enable and maintain full compliance of activity.
10. Working proactively, responsibly, and professionally always, and respecting and complying with the company’s reporting structure.
11. Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
1. Possess Stores experience within a Manufacturing environment.
2. Possess an excellent working knowledge of parts handling, Stores procedures and processes.
3. Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems such as IFS, SAP or similar.
4. Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
5. To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.
6. Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
7. To communicate effectively, positively, and respectfully with all colleagues.
8. To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.

This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
