Architectural Technologist Central London - Salary £35k - £45k

With a longstanding legacy, this practice has won awards and works with a range of global clients operating from their two studios in London and Europe. The London studio is 35 people strong with a heavy focus on collaborative working and career development. The successful individual will get to work across all stages of projects, diversifying across sectors, whilst being supported to enhance and develop their skill-set and take on more responsibilities. The main focus of the role will be to perform design, drawing and project administration assignments which form portions of the work of an experienced Architect, Designer or Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design Excellence: Prepare new designs and adapt existing ones, creating drawings, specifications, and schedules that align with design development and information release requirements.
* Technical Expertise: Independently evaluate, select, and apply knowledge of design and construction techniques, whether traditional or contemporary, to enhance project outcomes.
* Client Engagement: Assist in client management tasks to ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
* Collaboration: Develop an understanding of the principles and practices of related consultants and specialists, facilitating coordination across all design disciplines.
* Innovative Solutions: Cultivate product knowledge and practical awareness, applying creative solutions that align with design development goals.
* Regulatory Compliance: Familiarise yourself with all statutory requirements, including CDM regulations and obligations, to ensure projects adhere to legal standards.
* On-Site Insight: Gain experience in design and build-ability issues through regular site visits and observations, contributing to project success from conception to completion.
* Professional Development: Continuously advance your skills and knowledge by attending relevant training courses and studying appropriate literature, maintaining your Continuing Professional Development.
Requirements:
* BArch, BSc, BTEC, HND or similar certification with 2 - 4+ years industry experience.
* Full Revit proficiency.
* Strong technical knowledge.
