Reporting to: Head of People and Culture
Location: Based on site at Lamington Group, Hammersmith, United Kingdom with travel to UK hometels
Salary: Up to £45k + benefits

The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and driven individual with a passion for all things People to join us as a People and Culture Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity for a generalist HR Professional to grow within a committed, motivated, and innovative team. As the People and Culture Business Partner, you will work within a fast-paced environment partnering with operational management teams to add real value across several key business objectives. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively and be committed to delivering with integrity and respect in everything you do.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner with operational management teams supporting them by understanding the challenges and opportunities for their teams to work at their best.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop people plans that involve learning and development, talent and succession, diversity and inclusion, and colleague engagement and well-being.
3. Support HR-related projects on organisation and business change.
4. Coach managers to think how they can enhance their own team’s performances to improve business output.
5. Deliver various training programmes to enhance people capability.
6. Provide support to our People Managers, offering guidance on effective management of ER related issues.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation.
8. Act as the first point of contact for site teams for people-related queries.
9. Prepare and deliver onboarding and induction programmes for new starters.
10. Assist with the day to day operation of the People and Culture function including administration and reporting.
11. Manage HR administration encompassing full employee lifecycle.
12. Facilitate HR projects.
13. Support the Head of People & Culture to maintain Lamington Groups B-Corp Status.
14. Prepare wider reports for people related ESG initiatives.
15. Develop and deliver monthly well-being sessions.
16. Conduct regular audits to ensure people policies align with best practice, legal requirements and ESG commitments.
Skills and Competencies:
1. Partnering with a business area to achieve positive people outcomes.
2. Supporting the delivery and implementation of people projects and initiatives.
3. Payroll preparation, including pensions, bonuses, new starters, and leavers.
4. Recruitment administration.
5. Act as a superuser on HRIS, LMS, and other People & Culture software.
6. Providing references for colleagues.
7. Managing absence.
8. Experience delivering training programmes to operational hospitality teams.
